"A rock hit my windshield on the highway. At first she seemed so sweet and authentic. Said she’d do whatever it takes to help me. She got back to me saying she “spoke to 3 different companies and based off my image, theres no way to repair”. She knew I was strapped for money as I just moved. Then she became very pushy. She wanted a decision right now. I said I had to speak to my husband and I’d get back to her. 5 min later she calls me to say she has a great plan to help me. Her plan was to put me in a more expensive insurance policy that would require more money that day. I reminded her I am already struggling to pay this deductible and I don’t see how that “helps me”. She said there’s nothing she can do but thinks I should upgrade my policy. She ended up “negotiating” with a company to fix my windshield cheaper than my deductible. They said they’d call me first thing in the morning. They didn’t call me til almost 11:30 and said a tech would be out by 12. So unprofessional. When I was waiting, I called Safelite to get a quote. They said they already have my claim started it is covered 100%. When I told Laura’s “guy” I went with someone else, bc he didn’t reach out as promised, he got pushy and started blaming his workers and bad mouthing Safelite. I stopped responding and he continued to text me about my poor decision by not using his company. Laura did NOT have my best interest! She never told me Safelite would cover me 100%. She is a fraud."
